Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama intends to build flats for Police equipped with elevator.
We don't want Police to have narrow house. It's not quite proper for them having to go back to Depok or Bogor , then back to work tomorrow yet not provided adequate bathroom and resting place
"We don't want Police to have narrow house. It's not quite proper for them having to go back to Depok or Bogor, then back to work tomorrow yet not provided adequate bathroom and resting place," said Ahok, after he met with Chief of Jakarta City Police, Insp. Gen Tito Karnavian, Wednesday (7/29).
Therefore, he instructed the Police Chief to inventory lands owned by Police that can be used for flat construction as level as apartment.
"If Police's land can be acquired, then we will build flats. Besides, we purchase land to be joined thus police's family also can stay in the flats by paying only the maintenance charge," he uttered.
